Turin, the host city of the third edition of the World Summit on Accessible Tourism, offers a wide range of accommodation options to suit every need and budget—from simple, functional solutions to luxurious five-star hotels.
In line with the theme of the event, which focuses on accessible tourism, we have carefully selected a number of accommodation facilities that meet accessibility and inclusivity criteria. This selection was made in collaboration with Turismabile, a project funded by the Piedmont Region – Department of Tourism and developed by the Accessible Tourism Department of CPD – Consulta per le Persone in Difficoltà ODV ETS.
Since 2007, Turismabile has been a unique initiative in Italy, committed to improving tourism accessibility throughout the Piedmont region and promoting Piedmont as a truly “for all” destination. The project promotes an innovative vision of accessible tourism: not limited to removing architectural barriers in single facilities, but extended to the entire territory, where ease of access is considered an essential element of the overall quality of the visitor experience.
All the listed facilities have completed a self-assessment form, also available on the Turismabile website, where accessibility features are clearly outlined. This tool allows every traveler to make informed choices based on their individual needs.
